Virginia Richter
Virginia Richter age 99, formerly of Milwaukee was called home to the Lord on Tuesday evening October 6, 2015. She has been residing the past 12 years at Willow Brooke Point Senior Living, (Harmony Living Center).
A Mass of Christian Burial for Virginia will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday October 9, 2015 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover. Rev. Monsignor Jeffrey D. Burrill will officiate. Friends and relatives will gather to share memories from 9:30 AM Friday morning until the time of services at the church. Shuda Funeral Services is assisting the family. Burial will be at the Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon.
Virginia was born December 16, 1915 in Custer, the daughter of John and Teckla (Woyak) Richter. While in her 20's Virginia moved to Milwaukee, where she spent most of her life. She was a dedicated employee at Briggs & Stratton for over 30 years. Virginia moved back to this area 12 years ago to be nearer to her family. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, reading, spending time with her nieces and nephews, and watching EWTN, the Catholic TV station. She was a devout in her faith, celebrating Mass regularly and would often lead in praying the rosary.
Virginia is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: Raymond and George. 5 sisters: Agnes Nixon, Gertrude Omernik, Eleanor Konkol, Evelyn Keppen, and Violet Retzke.
