Obituary for
Kevin J. Worzalla
Kevin J. Worzalla age 53, of Stevens Point passed away due to complications of multiple sclerosis of which he fought a courageous battle with for years.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Kevin will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday September 9, 2016, at St. Peter Catholic Church. The Rev. Arul Joseph V. will officiate. Burial will follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
Kevin was born May 15, 1963 in Stevens Point, the son of Greg and Betty (Glodowski) Worzalla. He graduated from St. Peters Middle School and then from St. Lawrence Seminary in 1981. He earned his culinary degree from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton. Kevin married Janeen Schultz on May 5, 1984 at the Newman Center in Stevens Point. The couple settled in Stevens Point where Kevin worked in the food service department at UWSP. The couple moved to Madison, and Kevin was the general manager at the Perkins Restaurant in Madison. The couple later divorced and Kevin returned to Stevens Point in 2010. Kevin enjoyed camping, gardening, cooking, and playing his guitar.
Kevin is survived by his 3 children: Samantha (Noah) Bindman, Seattle, WA; Emily and Jerad Worzalla, both of Madison. His mother: Betty (Richard "Dick") Glodowski, Stevens Point. His brothers: Patrick (Susan) Worzalla, Stevens Point and Wayne Glodowski, Stevens Point. His sister: Cheryl (Jim) Palbrach, Rosholt. His granddaughter: Hazel, Seattle. He was preceded in death by his dad, Greg.
