June worked 25 years at River Pines nursing home retiring at the age of 80. She then volunteered as a foster grandparent at McKinley grade school in Stevens Point for nearly 12 years. One of her greatest joys was being grandma to all the children. June also enjoyed animals, particularly dogs, often stopping to pet every dog she would see. June always had a song in her heart as she enjoyed singing and bringing joy to people’s lives. Her songs, her good heart, and ready smile, will be missed by many.
