Jayne M. Erickson
Jayne M. Erickson, age 52 of 3432 Teton Dr. Stevens Point passed away Friday February 5, 2010 at her home surrounded by family and under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice. Services for Jayne will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday February 9, 2010 at Woodlands Church in Plover. Rev. Brian Berg will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the church. Shuda Family Funeral Services are assisting the family.
A memorial in lieu of flowers will be established in her name for First Choice Pregnancy Center.
Jayne was born December 3, 1957 in Neilsville, the daughter of Curtis and Geraldine (Kleist) Kunkel. She moved with her family to Stevens Point as a child and graduated from S.P.A.S.H in 1976. She graduated from the dental assistant program at N.E.T.C. and worked in the area before beginning her career as a real estate broker for the past 25 years. She married Charles "Chuck" Erickson June 14, 1990 in Eau Claire. Jayne enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, music, and singing. She was co-founder and board member for First Choice Pregnancy Center in Stevens Point, and a member of the Central WI Board of Realtors.
Jayne is survived by her husband Chuck; their daughter Megan (Jake) Novak, Kimberly; their son Cale Erickson, Stevens Point. Step daughter Claire (Andrew) Rowe, Sister Bay; Stepson Anders (Angie) Erickson, Chicago; Her parents: Curt and Geraldine Kunkel, Eau Claire. Two sisters: Dianne (Bruce) Koons, Tampa, FL and Susan (Brian) Marcott, Eau Claire. One brother: Todd (Jan) Kunkel, Eau Claire. One grandson Parker Rowe.
