Mary Ann Laszewski
Mary Ann Laszewski, age 82 of 3677 County Road O in Junction City passed away February 21, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield.
A memorial service will be held for Mary Ann at 4:00 PM Wednesday February 24, 2010 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses: 3600 North Point Drive, Stevens Point. Gary Fenn will officiate. Burial will be at Des Pines Cemetery. Friends and family will gather to share memories from 3:00 PM Wednesday until the time of services at the Kingdom Hall.
Mary Ann was born January 4, 1928 in Milladore, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Peysar) Krummel. She grew up in Milladore and attended local schools. Mary Ann married Stanley Laszewski Sr on May 15, 1946. The couple settled in Junction City where they farmed. They were co-owners of Clover Valley Farms Inc. until retirement. Mary Ann was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses congregation for over 63 years. She enjoyed flower gardening, feeding and watching her hummingbirds, traveling, craft shows and loved spending time with family.
Two sons survive Mary Ann: Stanley Jr (Connie) Laszewski; Michael Laszewski, both of Junction City. One daughter: Darlene “Dolly” Stranz (Patrick Arendt), Rudolph. Five grandchildren: Amanda (Tom) Prellwitz, Andrew Laszewski, Amber Melk, Chelsea Stranz, and Brittany Stranz. Two great grandchildren: Taylor and Cameron Melk. One sister: Martha Fuch. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stanley in 1996, one son Jerome, 3 brothers: Frank, Edward, and Robert Krummel; one sister Rose Laszewski.
