Albert Kath
Albert Kath age 89 of Auburndale passed away Monday morning March 15, 2010 at Three Oaks Golden Living Center in Marshfield. Funeral services for Albert will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday March 18, 2010 at the Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point. His grandson, Rev. Kurt Seboe will officiate. Friends and relatives will gather to share memories from Noon Thursday until the time of services at the funeral chapel. Burial will be at the St. Johns Cemetery in Rudolph.
Albert was born April 13, 1920 in Rudolph the son of Henry and Emma (Irrgang) Kath. He graduated from Rudolph High School. He married Grace Cisewski on May 6, 1944 in Stevens Point. The couple took over the family farm in Rudolph and ran the farm until retirement in 1987. The couple enjoyed family and church gatherings as they were long time members of the Assembly of God Church in Stevens Point. They enjoyed 61 years of marriage together. After retirement they moved to Stevens Point and since 2003 have lived in Auburndale with their daughter and son-in-law. Albert was very mechanically inclined and could fix anything. He enjoyed reading and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Dad was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Albert is survived by four children: Gary (Rose) Kath, Springfield, MO; Marilyn (Don) Seboe, Auburndale; Shirlee Kath, Springfield, MO; Rick Kath, Stevens Point. 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Grace in 2005, their son Jim; one brother and one sister.
